Marrine polution and it's remedies

Marine pollution, or ocean pollution, is the contamination of the ocean by harmful substances or materials, primarily from human activities. These substances can include industrial and agricultural waste, plastic debris, chemicals, and even noise pollution.
The main causes of marine pollution are land runoff, direct discharge of waste, air pollution, and various human activities like oil spills and deep-sea mining.
Causes of Marine Pollution:
1) Land Runoff:-
Pollutants from land, including agricultural runoff (fertilizers, pesticides), urban runoff (oil, grease, chemicals), and sewage, are carried by rivers and streams into the ocean.
2) Direct Discharge:-
Industrial and residential wastewater, as well as sewage, are directly dumped into the ocean, often without proper treatment.
3) Air Pollution:-
Industrial emissions and particulate matter can be carried by wind and deposited into the ocean.
4) Plastic Waste:-
A significant amount of plastic waste, including microplastics, enters the ocean, posing a threat to marine life through ingestion and entanglement.
5) Oil Spills:-
Accidental releases of oil from tankers and other vessels can cause widespread damage to marine ecosystems.
6) Deep-Sea Mining:
Mining activities, especially those involving heavy metals, can release pollutants into the marine environment.
7) Other Sources:-
Thermal pollution (increased water temperature from industrial activity), noise pollution (from ships and sonar), and invasive species can also contribute to marine pollution.
