Tidal energy role in enhancing Electrical energy. 
 Tidal Energy :-
     Tidal energy plays a significant role in environmental control by offering a "renewable and clean energy source". 
     It reduces reliance on fossil fuels, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants associated with traditional energy. Generation:-
  Tidal energy systems, like turbines and barrages, can be designed to minimize environmental impacts, and in some cases, even enhance coastal ecosystems. 
Environmental benefits:-
1) Reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions:-
    Tidal energy is a low-carbon energy source, significantly reducing the release of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and other pollutants compared to fossil fuels.

      It doesn't produce waste products or pollutants like traditional power plants, contributing to cleaner air and water. 
3) Predictable and Reliable:-
     Tidal energy is a predictable resource, making it a reliable baseload power source, unlike some other renewables like solar or wind. 
4) Coastal Ecosystem Benefits:-
   While construction can have some impact, well-designed tidal energy systems can contribute to coastal resilience and even create habitats for marine life.

    The world's tides contain a total of approximately 3,000 gigawatts (GW) of energy.
Capturable energy:-
A portion of this energy, estimated between 120 and 400 GW, is potentially available for power generation through tidal barrages.
Tidal stream power:-
  Tidal stream power, which uses ocean currents, could generate around 3,800 terawatt-hours (TWh) per year, according to some estimates.
Global consumption:-
   In 2016, global electricity consumption was about 21,000 terawatt-hours, indicating a considerable potential for tidal power to contribute significantly to future energy needs.

    The global tidal energy market was estimated at 127 GWh in 2022.
