Producing electricity from Air

Producing electricity from air .
Mankind has achieved a historic milestone by producing electricity from air is partially accurate. While it's not a widely adopted technology yet, scientists have indeed developed devices, often referred to as "Air-gen" devices, that can generate electricity from humidity in the air.
This technology relies on the Air-gen effect, which involves using materials with nanopores to create a charge separation within the material as water molecules pass through. This separation is then harnessed to produce electricity, similar to how a cloud builds up a charge before a lightning strike.

Here's a more detailed explanation:-

The Air-gen Effect:-
This effect is based on the principle that any material with the right nanoporous structure can generate electricity from humidity in the air.

Nanopores:-
The key to this technology is the use of materials with nanopores – holes smaller than 100 nanometers in diameter.

Charge Separation:-
As water molecules pass through these nanopores, they bump against the pore walls and transfer some of their charge, creating a charge separation within the material.

Electricity Generation:-
This charge separation can then be used to generate electricity when the material is connected to a circuit.

Small-Scale Success:-
Current research focuses on small-scale applications, such as powering small electronic devices.
While this technology is still in its early stages of development, it represents a promising avenue for future renewable energy generation, potentially offering a clean energy source from humidity in the air.
