Key Aspects of Gujarat's Renewable Leadership:
Capacity & Growth: As of December 2025, Gujarat has emerged as the top state for renewable energy, with significant contributions to the national goal.
Solar & Wind Dominance: -
It ranks first in wind power and is a top contender in solar energy, with over 11 lakh rooftop solar installations.
Key Projects: -
The state is developing the Khavda RE Park (37.35 GW planned) and holds a 13% share of India’s total solar capacity.
Strategic Growth: -
With a target of 100 GW+ renewable capacity by 2030, Gujarat has rapidly transformed into a green energy hub, with renewables accounting for a large share of its power generation. 
Other states like Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu are also top producers, but Gujarat has emerged as the leader in total integrated renewable energy capacity. 
    Gujarat leads India in renewable energy, contributing 16.5% of the nation's total. Gujarat aims to reach 105 GW renewable capacity by 2030.

Solar Power (Total: ~25.53 GW):
Ground-Mounted: 17,771.21 MW (includes massive projects like Charanka, Radhakrishna, and Dholera).

173.01 MW (including PM-KUSUM).
Wind Power: 
14,820.94 MW (Ranked 1st in India).
Hybrid/Other Projects:
 1,172.38 MW (Wind-Solar hybrid).
Major Projects: 
The Adani Group is developing a 30,000 MW (30 GW) hybrid park in Khavda, Kutch.
