Worsening Global Quality: -
91% of the 143 surveyed countries/territories failed to meet WHO safety guidelines, with pollution driven by fossil fuels and climate-related wildfires.
Asian Pollution Levels: -
South Asia is the most polluted region, with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Tajikistan topping the global list, while India ranks as the 6th most polluted country.

Andorra, Estonia, and Iceland are among the few European countries with safe air.

The 25 most polluted cities in the world are concentrated in India, Pakistan, and China.
