NTPC fully completed its 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, operationalizing the final 105 MW phase. Developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy), this massive installation is located in the Rann of Kutch region.
This milestone represents a major step toward NTPC's goal of reaching 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.

 Boosts the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group past 10,620 MW. 
In addition to ground-mounted solar like the Khavda complex, NTPC has also pioneered large-scale utility solar in other regions, including major installations in Rajasthan and floating solar plants in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
