India debuted tunnel hood technology on this route to manage strong air pressure changes and reduce "tunnel boom" (loud booming sounds) as trains enter and exit mountain tunnels at high speeds.
Phased Rollout:-
Following the 2027 launch of the initial Gujarat stretch, the remainder of the corridor is targeted for full completion by 2029.
