The Adani Group has proposed a massive investment package in Odisha featuring an integrated aluminium complex, two 3,000 MW nuclear power plants, and an ₹80,000 crore coal gasification project. 
Key Project Details
Aluminium Complex: -
Includes bauxite mining in Kutrumali (Rayagada) and Balada (Koraput), an alumina refinery with a captive power plant in Rayagada district, and an aluminium smelter unit in Cuttack district. 
Nuclear Power Plants:-
 Two proposed 3,000 MW capacity nuclear energy plants (totaling 6,000 MW) aimed at providing reliable, clean baseload power. 
Coal Gasification Project: -
An estimated ₹80,000 crore investment for an integrated coal-to-chemicals facility located at Bedabahal in the Sundargarh district. 
Infrastructure Support: -
Plans also involve expanding the Dhamra Port logistics network to handle raw materials and finished goods. 
Leadership Meetings: -
Adani Ports and SEZ Limited CEO Karan Adani met with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo to discuss accelerating these clearances and land acquisitions.
