Key Details
Capacity: -
Liquefies up to 800,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually.
Process:-
 CO₂ is captured from ammonia manufacturing and liquefied on-site.
Transport & Storage: -
Ships transport the liquefied carbon to Norway, where the Northern Lights project injects it 2.6 kilometer beneath the North Sea seabed for permanent storage.
Goal: -
Reduces industrial emissions and avoids heavy EU carbon taxation penalties.
