Capacity & Technology: -
The new facility will produce 4.5 GW of high-efficiency TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) solar cells, which are increasingly favored over older mono-PERC technology.
Location: -
The plant is located in the Power and Renewable Energy Equipment Zone at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, chosen for its supportive state policies and resource availability.
Additional Expansion: -
In addition to the cell plant, the company expects its 4.5 GW PV module manufacturing plant in Jaipur to be fully operational by January 2026.
Company Growth: -
With these additions, Insolation Energy aims to significantly boost its total manufacturing capacity,, complementing their existing solar panel production to become a fully integrated manufacturer. 
The company is leveraging specialized TOPCon technology to meet increasing demand for high-efficiency solar modules, supported by funding from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA).
