Studies focus on preventing rapid decarbonization from exacerbating inequalities among vulnerable and marginalized communities.
Sustainable Transport & Land Use:-
 Initiatives (such as those at Ahmedabad University) emphasize integrating better land-use mixes and improving non-motorized public transport for urban centers.

According to the Viksit Gujarat@2047 vision document, the state aims to grow its economy from $259 billion in 2021–22 to $3.5 trillion by 2047.
Total Installed Capacity: Surpassed 71GW across the state, making it India's top electricity-producing state.
Renewable Energy: Over 44% of Gujarat's total energy capacity comes from non-fossil fuel sources, heavily driven by solar and wind power. The state aims to hit 80GW of renewable energy by 2030.
